Pimple like thing with black spot - Skin Problems Message Board

I have what appears to be a pimple on my neck and it has a black dot in it. The black dot looks as if it is a pencil point.

Is this something that I should be concerned about?

Last week end I tried to get whatever it is in there out but it got red and looking bad, scabed over, and now that the scab is gone it is still there.

I hope that someone can help and tell me what this is. It is driving me crazy.

Nothing to be concerned about. Sounds to me just like a blackhead. Just keep trying to push it out until it does eventually come out! Otherwise wait until the pimple has cleared up, and then it may be easier to get out.

I think I have heard them called "fisheyes" before.
