Question endless itching - mental or physical?

ever since I remember my self my entire body is itching, (i'm 22 years old)
i'm not sure if this problem is physical or mental, this itching is usualy starts when i'm not concentrating in anything, its like one part of my body could be itching, but if I start to think on any other body part it will start to itch and usually replace the last area, my skin is ok tho, I don't have anything strange on it, i'm really not sure if there is actually some thing that make my entire body itch or its just some metal problem, honestly I'm already used to live like that, but it sure be nice if I could get rid of this thing.

thanks Rami.

Re: endless itching - mental or physical?

It's probably a bit of both, physical and mental. I know exactly what you're talking about ''if I start to think on any other body part it will start to itch"...I don't think that is uncommon although I think it has become more of an obsession for you, no?

My advice is learn to ignore it, or at least only itch the genuine itches (if you catch my drift). I understand that will be incredibly frustrating, but if you carry on caving to all the itches you seem to be mentally creating, your situation will never improve. You'll find the longer you go without itching these "phantomn itches" the less you will get them. Well that's my theory anyway

Good luck.
