iv recently started getting this huge painful lump on my back every month or so. it has no white head on it and doesnt really resemble a spot, however, when it pops, a LOT of blood comes out along with puss =|, does anyone know what this could be, it hurts very much and is really annoying! please help, iv had this twice on my back and once on my arm...x
Well, the only thing I can think of is maybe a boil. If this keeps happening you should visit a doctor when it is flared up, but look into a boil, maybe that's what it is. Is it always in the same spot? Maybe when you're popping it, you're not getting everything out. Let me know what you find out!
Sounds like it could be a cyst, staph infection or if it is happening frequently and in different areas you could possibly have hydradenitis suppurativa which is an infection of the apocrine gland. In any case, because it is recurring you should really see a dr about this. You may need a course of antibiotics.
