| | White Sun-Spots Plus Post Tanning
Hi...I have WHITE sunspots (tinea versicolor) on my back and am currently treating them with Selsun Blue. I plan to wash then spot treat for two weeks...my questions are:
If I stop after 2 weeks, how can I tell if I'm cured (at least temporarily cured)?
Can I start tanning again after the 2 weeks to speed up the skin tone evening process? Won't the treatment allow for the spots to start tanning again...and since they're lighter than the rest of my back, won't they tan more and even out quicker? I've read a few sites that say to avoid sunlight...but I'm not quite sure what exactly their reasoning is or if their reasoning is even valid.
Thanks so much. Sunspots stink.
