LauraJane Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: Annapolis, MD, USA Posts: 120	sebaceous cysts located on smile line- removal question Hello - I think I have a sebaceous cysts located directly in the middle of my smile line next to my mouth. I have had it for YEARS - I am 36. Recently it has gotten bigger so I am going to a cosmetic/plastic surgeon to discuss removing. Question - Due to it's location, I do not want a scar on my face. Can the doctor remove the small cyst by going through the mouth?? It is in an area where it can be surgically cut out from the inside of my mouth. I know this is strange but I thought I would ask.
