Burning skin

Hi all. I have read through all of your posts regarding burning skin. I came here, because I am once again suffering from my skin burning all over. There is no rash, no color change, no exposure to sun, no temperature change. Just burning all over, like I have a severe sunburn. It seems there were a couple of posts similar to this that had no replies.

But, as I read, I knew I had to post some info that may help some of you. A very long time ago, my face would turn red and be on fire.......at my job. The people would stare at me, and some would ask if I was okay. I found out that I was allergic to the ink that was used in the forms that I was checking. Also, the dust that came from the paper. It was horrible. To this day, I cannot read a newspaper, without having misery.

I hope that may help someone. And, if anyone has any idea about burning all over, please let me know.

Thanks and good health to you all.

Re: Burning skin

I had something exactly like that about 5 years ago. I was outside and walking towards my house when I suddenly felt like my face and arms were on fire. I turned bright red. I doused myself in water and it went away. I had that happen about 2 or 3 times. I did some research and got very scared when I found a type of Carcinoma that can cause that. I went to my GP and asked him. He told me to pee in this thing everyday for like a week or so and bring it back and they would send it in as that is the only way to check. He assured me I did not have it. Lo and behold no one knew but he did have it and passed away later that year so he knew my symptoms were not it. What a strange experience that was to go see him and find that out. Anyhow I never had it again. When I looked at what was going on in my life I was miserable in a unhappy marriage and very close to starting an affair (I was not happy with myself over that). I guess it was a flushing of some sort dealing with depressed feelings.
