aspirin masks and stretch marks

I recently started to use the aspirin mask on my face at night and have been noticing a great change in my skin, though I still have slight acne, my skin is softer and it seems to be clearing up my face ( slowly). Anyway for those who have experience with this procedure, did anyone try it on their stretch marks? The exfoliation is fabulous and I was always told to exfoliate my smarks, just wonderin if anyone had any results in reducing the color and size by this.

Re: aspirin masks and stretch marks

I've never tried that but it could work, I've heard you should exfoliate too. I also heard that grapfruit helps with stretch marks. What you do is fill a tub with warm water not hot, then you peel a grapfruit and put the peels in the tub. Get in and rub the peels all over your body ( the inside of the peel) supposedly the peels get sponge like and the oil from the peels is absorbed into your skin. Anyway this lady I know from another message board did this and said her stretch marks are completely gone not one single mark or scar. I think the thing with stretch marks or any scar is that you need lots of moisture and lots of viatmins and minerals both from the outside and the inside to heal them. I think dead sea salt is supposed to be good for them too, just make sure its actual dead sea salt and doesn't have a lot of other chemicals in it. I hope I helped some

Yeah I heard that too, I've actually used peeled oranges at one time but it wasn't for stretch marks. Grapefruit is also very good for losing weight so I've heard. But thank you, I will try that and let everyone know how it works.

What messageboard did you read this from? Were her stretch marks old and white or red and new?

Re: aspirin masks and stretch marks

I didn't think you could get rid of stretch marks.

Stretch marks are scars when your skin can't keep up with the growth of the tissue under it. To my limited knowledge, you can't get rid of scars, maybe only slightly diminish them.

If this is incorrect, please someone let me know b/c I have stretch marks on my inner thighs and hips that I would absolutely love to get rid of.
