| Is this Keratosis Pilaris?
The back of my arms are always red and bumpy. Sometimes the redness subsides a little. When I get upset, nervous, or if I am really hot it gets really red and feels hot (not to the touch but a burning sensation). People point it out all the time asking what happened or tell me I am sunburned. I'm not sunburned but it does look and feel like it. I have looked up keratosis Pilaris and it mentions the bumpiness but not the redness. I asked a dermatologist once and he didn't say what it was but gave me ammonium lactate cream which helps w/ the bumps but not the redness.
