I've had this probelm since my teens. About once every few weeks an area of my skin turns red, hot, and itchy. Usually it's on my fingers, but if not then it will be on the palm of my hand. The itch grows more intense until I break the skin from absent mindedly itching it, and if you press down on the skin then a little red spot appears, but it's not elevated or full of liquid. After I break the skin the itch starts to go away but once again it happens a few weeks later. It's almost always just one spot on my fingers, but if two ever appear the second only happens after the first is almost healed up. I don't think this is an alergic reaction to anything because it's like clockwork and usually it's only one spot. I've tried everything from anti-itch cream to bennadryl. Any suggestions on what it might be? Although I don't think it's a health risk it's most definitely annoying! Thanks for the help!
