Tiny blackspot on my arm? - Skin Problems Message Board

Hello,

I think one of my freckles turned black, which is weird cause I havent been out in the sun in FOREVER. I dont tan or anything.

My freckle is almost non noticeable and is about as thick as a piece of lead from a mechanical pencil. What should I do?

I would go see a dermatologist. Any change in a freckle or mole is suspect and should be checked out by a professional. I don't want to scare you. But, better safe than sorry.

Agree with the above post. Don't want to scare you but run, don't walk, to a Dermatologist. Dark moles are usually nothing to worry about but those that change, and those that are unusal in appearance compared to your other moles, must always be checked OUT. If it is something, It can be 100%cured if caught early. Also, sun exposure is A factor but not the only factor so don't rely on that as a reason to let it go.
