Fish Oil Alternative for skin health?

Hi again everyone!

I have a real quick question. I heard taking fish oils is good for the skin, and since I have a bunch of skin problems..I thought I'd try it. Well....I had an allergic reaction to it. I broke out in hives all over and felt wheezy from it. I went to my doctor to review my allergies and I came up positive for fish food allergies. Is there an alternative of equal nutritional value?

Thanks,
-Vers

Re: Fish Oil Alternative for skin health?

Flax seed oil. If you do a search on it you will be amazed by the amount of good it does for your body. I can't be sure but, when I saw the list I began to wonder if there was even one thing that Flax Seed Oil isn't good for. It is a truly amazing supplement. And, couple it with plenty of water. It is amazing how cleansing water can be.

Take care and keep in touch!

Re: Fish Oil Alternative for skin health?

Hi,
Flax and borage oil are really good oils for the skin but for long term use they are not balanced enough in their ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids. Hemp oil is balanced and is a really good alternative to fish oil. It is safe and there is no THC in it. It has a tasty nutty flavor.
Wishing you well.

Re: Fish Oil Alternative for skin health?

Flax oil works wonders.

Two tablespoon fulls daily will remove age spots and sun damage after 4 or 5 months of use.

In the end, you'll have near perfect looking skin.
