For the last 10 years i have been suffering from this disease

I'm 17 and the disease keeps spreading. I have white spots all over my leg and upper arms. I've been to the derm several times but she keeps telling me that there is no treatment and i just have to live with it

there are more just tick in guttate hypomelanosis cryotherapy on ******

now my derm had tried it once but she had no experience with the treatment. the spot became bigger then it was before but i dont know maybe she froze it to long or something she said she never heard of the treatment

have anyone heard of this treatment? or is there another treatment that works please let me know

Hi,

I had never heard of this before, but it seems very similar to what I've got I even think I have it on my arms and possibly other areas, on my face it is most noticeable as that gets tanned most, and I am fairly fair. Some of the pics on the net looked like mine but the ones of darker or tanned skinned people looked worse because of the contrast. It doesn't seem very hopeful for treating it if that is what I've got..

I'm seeing the derm soon anyway as he wants to see how my eczema is doing so I will mention it.

I am going to get a sunblock for my face (non cancerous one- I'll look into that- terrible how something that is supposed to stop skin cancer may actually be helping cause it.) I do like the summer but this prob i've had the last few years has put a bit of a downer on it..

I'm not sure it seems most similar to the pics of hypomelanosis so far.

no the derm excluded vitiligo.

Hi, I had these white spots for years, started off on my shoulders and went all over my arms, legs, even started on my chest. They were awful and I was a slave to fake tan for years. Like you I went to top dermalogists and they said there was nothing that they could do, my fault, sun damage etc...I totally understand why you want rid of them because there were just awful and they kept getting worse
So by lucky chance I had a chest infestion and my flat mate recommented that I go to his acupuncturist to get fixed. While there I asked her about my white spots, she said no bother she would fix them. Now I had psorasis also and she treated me for both, saying my skin is the largest organ in the body and the last call for help. I have been going to her for 2 years and what a lady, my white spots have nearly vanished, hardly noticable and I feel great. It was a tough 2 years but so worth it. Go to an authentic Chinese doctor who specilaised in Acupuncture because they can fix this. I wish you all the luck and do believe it can be fixed!
