Pigmented skin? - Skin Problems Message Board

For the last two years (only during the summer) I have noticed that on the inside of my legs by my private region my skin is a different color. It has a darker tone to it than all my other skin on my body. This only happens in this area and no where else on my body. Does anyone have a clue as to why this happens and what I can do to help it?

Do you have a darker complection? My boyfriend is of color and he gets darker where ever clothing is tight or when his thighs rub together. He has it around his waistband area and inner thighs.

Hi, I've noticed the same thing. I'm still looking for the term to describe this condition, are you sure it's pigmentation? Are there any cream/lotion to lighten the dark skin? It's so unattractive especially when i'm wearing swimsuit.
