What soap to use for dry, itchy skin

My skin is very dry, especially in the winter months. I can't seem to find a soap that's suitable for this condition. Any ideas ??

Re: What soap to use for dry, itchy skin

Have you tried Dove CreamOil body wash? Over the winter, I noticed my skin getting progressively worse and worse. So gross it made me cringe. So, remembering back from when I was a teenager, Dove has a ton of moisture. It sort of feels a bit greasy at first but, you actually get used to it. Now, and since then, my skin feels like a baby's bottom.

Give it a shot. Dove is really probably the best brand of soap as far as moisture.

Take care and keep in touch!

Thanks - I'll try it. I've been using dove bar soap, but it doesn't help at all. I need to live in a warm, sunny place. Our winters are horrible!!

aveeno has some good skin washes. They are very thick so you only need small amounts. In the winter I also use the bath treatment oatmeal packets which are fabulous. CVS and Brooks make these as well as Aveeno. I then use alba mositurizing lotion which can be bought at Whole foods supermarket or other health food type store.
