Strange blood blister on inner thigh - Skin Problems Message Board

Hi all,
I was wondering if you could help me figure out what this was - when I got up this morning, I noticed an extremely sensitive bump on my inner thigh, basically a bright red blood blister. It was round, maybe 2-3mm in diameter and raised. I popped it and it bled profusely, and doesn't hurt anymore.
I've only had one sexual partner, and I know she is STD free, so I'm sure it isn't that.
Has anyone else experienced random painful blood blisters on their thighs, or anywhere else? Are they just things that happen randomly?

I get them but they don't hurt. My BF gets had one on his leg for the longest. Finally I popped it. He gets them on his chest too. No idea why. He's not concerned with them nor am I. I've never had an STD nor has he. I haev no idea why they happen.
