Re: Urinary tract infection

My mom used to get these. She would drink cranberry juice on a daily basis. Make sure to see a doctor if you haven't. UTI are nothing to mess around with

Re: Urinary tract infection

Yes, cranberry juice is supposed to help people that get frequent UTI's. Also sell tablets at the pharmacy in cranberry form if you would prefer not drinking the juice. The doctors say you should also make sure you completely empty your bladder by leaning forward a bit; this is supposed to help also. Oh, and there also is a medication you can get at the pharmacy for quick relief if you can't get to a doctor right away.

Those UTI's are painful. I had one for two months that just wouldn't go away; had to take 3 rounds of antibiotics and then it finally did. I drank gallons of cranberry juice!

Take care,
Judy

Re: Urinary tract infection

Thanks a lot....I am better or at least comfortable at the present. I believe in cranberry juice, and I did buy capsules. Drinking lots of water is important. Thanks again. ssselr
