| prematurely wrinkled hands
Hi, I'm writing in regarding my husbands hands. He is 35 and his hands look like they belong on someone twice his age. They are very tough and the wrinkles are quite deep. They have been like this since he was in his teens and while they don't pose a problem physically, emotionally he has always been self conscious about them. People make comments all the time about how old his hands look etc. This is limited to the backs of his hands. He has seen a few doctors when he was in his teens who didn't know what was causing it so he just kind of thinks he's abnormal. Does anyone have any idea what the causes for this could be? Is there a medical condition that explains wrinkled hands? Any help would be appreciated.
