Itching all over too much! - Skin Problems Message Board

I'm always itchy, I hate it! My scalp, my back, face, eyes & private areas. Seems like I always itch, have tried different things but no help. Has anyone heard of this?

Do you have any redness or sores with this? Have you been to the doctor?
Sounds like my husband, but he only complains during the cooler months.
He does have psoriasis on his scalp and I can see where that itches.
Sounds like extra dry skin.
Drink lots of water, and moisturize! My mother's doctor told her one of the best moisturizers is safflower oil. She puts it in a spray bottle and uses it all the time. At first it seems oily, but then really soaks in and it's not oily any longer. She swears by it! I've been taking fish oil and my skin (aside from my hands) is not nearly as bad as it has been in past years.

I'd get an allergy test
I was itching like that when I was younger and was eating eggs for breakfast every morning......turns out I was allergic to them!
sometimes we don't make the connection......

I don't have redness or sores, my father had psoriasis real bad I have it but not bad but it could be that. I do drink alot of water & take flaxseed. I'm in Fla so not too cold, almost wondering except for scalp if it could be nerves, I'm under alot of stress. I'm gonna try the safflower oil & see, I wonder if I can put it on my scalp too. I do to skin Dr soon for something else will mention it but usually the meds they give do nothing. Thanks alot.

For me, it ended up being allergies. I have all of the regular ones and apparently an allergy to nickel, as well. Sigh. All gold has nickel in it, and I had to take off my wedding set.
