I get itchy bumps that look like mosquito bites most often and sometimes get as big as hives. Sometimes with a red splotchy area around it but not always. I get them all year long, indoors and outdoors. Sometimes a bump only lasts a few minutes, sometimes weeks. Does this sound like you?
I'm 32 and I have gotten them my whole life but I have no idea what they are from. No doc has been able to tell me either. My self diagnosis is that my body self produces too much histamine when I am stressed, hot (even just my morning shower always causes some), tired, etc. My other guess is that my nervous system is tweaked out (I have chronic myofacial pain) and therefore my body keeps producing histamine as a reaction to the pain/stress. I could be wrong though...I just know I always itch somewhere...
