I am seeing spots on my daughter - Skin Problems Message Board

I noticed that my 19 year old daughter had white spots all over her back. They appear to be scars. She said they came from the tanning bed. She is no longer going but I have never heard of that before. Does anyone know if she can be helped or are they there forever?

The white spots are probably from laying on the tanning bed, pressure points. This can prevent those areas from tanning. Does she flip from her back to her front? Or even just reposition herself occassionally.
Years ago I managed a tanning salon and remember others mentioning a big white spot around their tail bone area and sholders.
When her tan fades or she's out in the real sun, things should even out.
