cherry angiomas-tiny red moles

Has anyone ever heard of a way to remove those tiny dot size red moles without going to a doctor? I have never heard of any way to do this, but I am just curious. I had one removed once by a nurse practitioner and it healed fine. I have lots of them which I believe is hereditary and I think it may cost quite a bit to have them all removed.
