I had, on the back of my thigh, a small raised bump. Within a day, a red rash had spread in a circular pattern about the size of a cd. The skin was hot and extremely painful to the touch. I finally got brave and decided to squeeze the center. I was able to get a lot of pus out of it, but the pus was so thick it was almost solid. I kept squeezing and all of a sudden this little whitish round thing popped out. It looked almost like a pearl. After that, it started to heal and felt much better. It did leave a small raised bump though and it's been there for the last 3 years. My doctor has no idea what it is. It hadn't bothered me until a few days ago. The same thing happened again. A circular rash and extremely painful. Again I squeezed and got pus out and it feels better again. But as I was squeezing I heard something hit the floor. I think the dead raised bump came off. It is really weird.
Has anyone else had something like this? By the way, when it first started I was working at a kennel. Maybe this is a clue?
