 Weird rash?
My mom got a skin tear on her shin, and a few days later the surrounding skin got red. about an inch around the tear. The tear healed up about a week ago, but the redness is still there. Sometimes its a little bit weepy, but nothing dramatic, and it looks like a sunburn. The rest of her leg looks fine. Last night, she was sitting in her wheelchair for three hours (she's usually in bed, on an air mattress). When I put her back to bed, the rash (?) was bright pink dots, over the same area as the redness. My mom is unable to tell me if it hurts or is itchy. This morning, the dots are still there, but faded a little. Did I just have her out of bed, with her feet down, for too long??
