| Chronic Aptness to Blisters
Not sure if this is the right category for me to be posting this, but I wanted to ask.
We go to a lot of theme parks, and hence when we go we do a lot of walking, in excess of 5 miles a day. I seem to have a chronic problem with being very apt to get blisters when walking around like this. I have several pairs of tennis shoes and sandals, but no matter what kind of footwear I wear to a theme park, I always come back with at least four blisters on each foot.
I started putting Bodyglide on my feet and this helped for a while, but now it doesn't seem to help prevent blisters anymore. When I get blisters, I always get them in the same places on my feet no matter what shoes I'm wearing or if I put Bodyglide on or not. These places are the ouside edge of my heel and my toes. I never blister anywhere else. I am overweight and thought that this might contribute, though when I lost all my weight a few years ago I still had a problem with chronic blistering even then.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to try to prevent blisters in ways other than what I am doing? Or any idea in what might be causing them?
