Hello guys, newbie here urgently needs help! - Skin Problems Message Board

Hi, im 20 years old man. I'm having this problem for 4 days. It all started on the back of my neck. (First i thought i got bitten by mosquito/insects). The shape of the rash is very small and it's light red in color. It gets itchy sometimes, but after a while it will be OK. Though the scars will remain there.

The next day I realized it spread down to my arms already. At this stage the rash also appear on my face. Today I just found out another 2 dots on my legs.

I did some researches on german measles, chickenpox, etc. But as i remember, I have had those two before. Some-more, I don't feel any headache at all.

My assumptions are:
1. I remember I had been cleaning up my house last 2 weeks maybe it's because of the dust
2. I swam in my campus last week, maybe it's because of the dirty water
3. I got chickenpox/german measles

My question is: Can anybody figure out what's going on with my skin?
Is it possible for me to get german measles/ chickenpox for the second time?

It's not possible for you to get chicken pox or the German measles twice.

Swimming on campus sounds suspicious, "hot tub rash" is one of many Recreational Water Illnesses you can get from bad water.

I had this problem a few weeks ago and went to both my doctor and a dermatologist. They determined that I was just picking up a virus and sometimes rashes show up before or after you are sick. So, I did everything I could to fight off this "virus" which I could kinda feel coming on... stuffy nose, etc. but last week it hit me hard, and sure enough, I got a really bad flu. The rash cleared up with some hydrocortizone cream in about a week or so. After a few days, I could already feel a little relief. I recommend getting some over the counter stuff and try that for a few days, twice a day or more if needed. Otherwise, if you are a hypochondriac like me, you can go to the doctor and ask them. I don't know much about skin problems, but it could be an allergic reaction to something too. I hope this helps!!

Mmm..i just read the webpage u gave me!.. It mostly talking about diarrhea.
However your information makes me quite relief for now, meaning that it's impossible for me to get chickenpox/german measles ryt?... I've been so stressed up with my skin condition until i cant concentrate in my study lately.

I just remember, last week(7days ago) I ate deer meat. Is it possible that I allergic to deer meat?...if it's true, why the rashes still appear until now? Isn't it if allergic, the rashes would only last for few days?......i really have no idea about allergic thing

AH see... I'm thinking i might be picking up a virus too or else it's because of an allergic effect. The last one i'm not so sure though. Maybe I will wait for a couple of days, if it still appears then i'll go see a doctor.
