| Cauterization (burning off) moles
Hi I just had several moles on my face burned off by my dermatologist. Right now I have many little scabs all over my face where the areas are healing. My dermatologist told me the scabs would all fall off within a week. My question is...has anyone had this done and was there scarring? I saw a post on the internet that said it could leave crater-like scars. Yikes! Is this true? If so, I wish I'd known this yesterday before I had the procedure done. Also, does anybody know if freezing moles rather than burning them is a better route to prevent scarring? My doctor said burning them is better. I'm confused and nervous that after scabs fall off, my face is going to look like the surface of the moon.
