| Large sores under belly button
About seven months ago I developed what looked like a simple pimple underneath my belly button. Almost overnight, there were two which are now open wounds. I have seen literally a team of dermatologists, from residents to experienced seasoned ones, to a wound care specialist. Everyone scratching their heads. I have a tissue biopsy which was inconclusive - no polyderma - no MRSA - no infection. Have been on Bactrim and Doxcycline, and Predisone. Topically, used Silvadine, Biafine, Metrogel, Hydrogel, freshly squeezed aloe, and just started with Granulex. As of today, what were two separate sores are now becoming one as the skin in between has broken down. They are painful like knife pain. They were pretty much just annoying and a nuisance for the first several months; now not so. They have been covered everyday all day for seven months. Lots of bleeding too. Anyone like to weigh in?
