 Edema/dryness of dry eyelids areas in face
I have been puzzeled by the extreme dryness and also swelling of my upper eyelids, dryness extends around nose and back of the ears, especially in early morning hours. The dryness causes the face to be heavily wrinkled around the eyes to make it look like a lizzard after waking up in the morning. During morning and evening hours some itching also occurs. I have not been able to establish if it is due to allergy by food/face cream/after shave or due to some fungal infection.
Any comments, suggestions and remedial measures based on credible personal experience and scientific basis will be highly appreciated.
