| perioral dermatitis - 3 year oldchild
My three year old was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis. I was given some samples of metrogel to use. Just when I think it is going away it comes back with a vengence. One minute I look at her and her face looks great, then the next minute it is all flared up. Is there anything else I can try? I have read that oral antibiotics are often prescribed but the doctor didn't mention that. I am at my wits end here. Every time I put the metrogel on she screams and says it stings. I feel helpless. Any advice or info would be appreciated. I can't find much on this condition for children.
