harringtondw Newbie (male) Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 1	"Infected" scalp follicles I'm 31 and for some 2+ years now I have had these raised, painful red bumps appearing on my scalp. Removing the hair relieves the pain and I find that each hair I remove contains and extra buildup on the follicle that seems to be the cause of the problem. I have tried tea tree shampoo, a weeklong course of oral antibiotics as prescribed by by docotor and various other OTC remedies but nothing seems to be working. Hopefully I am not the only one out there that has experienced this problem PLEASE HELP THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING!!!
