I've had severe facial dandruff for over 25 years. Tried Metrogel...Metro cream....doxicycline and numerous other remedy medications ~ to NO AVAIL. Recently read about 'apple cider vinegar'. The $1.99 quart size bottle has worked a MERICLE! Just a small amount on my face and night and in the morning has totally eliminated the problem. Granted, I smell like a tossed-salad but that only lasts for minutes. You can rinse your face if you're going out.
