White blotches on forehead and cheeks
First post here, and I apologis I'm not helping someone first, but rather asking for help myself.
For the last 2 or 3 years I have developed white "blotches"on my face - primarily on my forehead and cheeks. They are there all the time, whether I'm tanned or not. My doctor diagnosed it as Pityriasis Versicolor, and told me to use an antifungal cream for a couple of months.
I used the cream for 4 or 5 months and absolutely nothing changed. The blotches get much more noticeable if there is more blood in my head - for eg, if I hang upside down, or am embarressed or just hot.
I've done a bit of research into the aforementioned complaint, and nowhere can I find anything that mentions it occuring on your face - which makes me think it's something else. If anyone has any ideas as to what it could be I'd be very grateful, I've never seen anyone with it before and it's starting to affect my social behaviour.
Also, I got diagnosed with mild eczema on my chest, which an aqueous cream deals with very nicely - could it be related? (I've tried moisturisers and creams on forehead already to no avail).
I guess the easiest way to show you would be in a picture so I'll try and upload one somewhere over the weekend.
Many thanks in advance
