Using Hibiclens as a clenser in the shower instead of soap might be worthwhile - its a very strong, yet very gental, antibacterial clenser.
If it gets mixed with soap, shampoo etc, it is inactivated, so make it the last thing you do in the shower - pour about 10ml onto a clean shower puff, and lather up all the effected areas. Leave on for one minute, then rinse.
You can buy Hibiclens in drug stores.
