| Wound on Scalp
Hi,
For about 3 months now i've had this wound on my scalp that won't go away. I don't know how it got there, there wasn't any sort of injury that led to it. It feels like a scab almost, it's very dry and scaly. Every once in awhile it will seem like it is almost gone, just for it to grow in size again and become painful. I did make the mistake of scratching at it when i first discovered it, and think that may be why it won't go away. It's located behind my left ear, and is about the size of a quarter. It's never bled or leaked anything.
I've got a lot of long, thick hair, so i've never been able to actually get a look at it. I have noticed a couple of swollen lymph nodes on that side of my neck that arose about the same time the scalp thing did, so I figured those were in response to helping fight infection or something on my head.
Anyway, my point is to see if anyone has any tips for getting this to finally close all the way.
