dark spots appearing on skin
For the last eight weeks about twenty small dark spots have been appearing on my skin. A few spots that were small have started to grow. They began to appear on my face, arms, shoulders and now are beginning to appear on my legs. There is one spot between two of my toes. They seem slighty under the skin.
I am in the sun very little. So I don't think that is the cause of this.
I have seen two dermatologists about this because I thought it was melanoma. I had some supsicious looking moles or lesions, as the doctors called them, on my back. The doctors recommended I have them removed. So I had them removed and a biopsy at the same time. The doctor who removed them told me it was his opinion that what I had was not melanoma. But we shall see what the lab report says.
If I don't have melanoma then what could be causing these spots? Is it a result of some form of malnutrition?
