Fleweezie Newbie (male) Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: Canada Posts: 1	Are Corticosteroids on scars? Are corticosteroids effective on scars****** (sorry for incorrect title) I have been prescribed betamethasone dipropionate gel (0.05%) for a hypertrophic scar on my arm. I have been using it for a couple days now and I was wondering how effective this will be on reducing inflammation and flattening it out. Responses will be appreciated as other forums do not reply.
