| Cold sore type spots on top lip
I am a 50 year old male in good health but every few weeks I get a cold sore type event on my face where the top lip borders the face,it can occur any place along the rim of the lip.Various doctors have said it's not a cold sore but they are not sure what it is.It will start by "tingling"then becomes larger/visible for about a week sometimes with pus but not always and painfull.There seems to be no link with shaving in any way,any ideas?.My lower lip never gets then only the top lip.
