Is this a Staph Infection?
 

went to the doctor and he said he thinks it is a staph infection and gave me 10 days of Augmentin. Will Augmentin kill this and return my skin back to normal? I have only taken 3 pills and nothing really is happening yet

My son had staph infection from a mosquito bite and he itched it so bad that he developed a big hole. He went to the doctor and they gave him the same antiobiotic you mentioned. It took a while to heal. It was painful in the area. So it takes time to heal. Just give it some time and watch it carefully.
