Question Bite?

I remember sleeping and waking up to something unpleasant on the left side of my face, thinking I nicked it on something. I woke up later that night to find what looked like a couple of zits forming together with no heads, just swelling. Two days later it swelled up a bit and it began worrying me. My doctor told me it was a bacterial infection. I've had some other medical personnel tell me it is definitely a bite, probably a spider.

Here are some pictures showing the progression. I am taking Bactrim for a bacterial infection, with no results. My lymph nodes in my neck become tender and swollen on the left side only
(same side of the bite) the next day after this happened. Also, the lymph nodes under my arms began to become sore and tender, but have since subsided. My doctor swears they are not related, but my lymph nodes have never swollen and been visible on my skin. My cervical lymph node near my front collar bone on left side is hard like a small rock now and is noticeable by just looking at my neck. Blood work shows nothing abnormal. I have not felt any sickness in my throat, either. Which is the only time my lymph nodes have swollen in my neck.

Two days after the bump appeared swollen, two small black dots appeared on the bump. Now those two black dots have scabs forming over them which have gotten larger even since they appeared.

The site burns constantly and is worsening, and I have been increasingly itchy. I had horrible headaches a couple of days ago, and my muscles felt like the were locking up in my body, including an episode where my jaw locked up and the right side (opposite of bite) began spasming and became sore. Also, I've felt nauseous and my face feels numbed slightly, except in the direct location of the scabbing which feels like direct burning/pinching pain. I had a very slight pain in my chest and shortness of breath, especially when going up stairs, but it seems to be getting better now.

I'm fairly sure this is not what my doctor thought it was (a fungal infection or bacterial infection), he wasn't sure and treated me for both.

Anyone have any ideas or has seen anything like this?
