I am a 66yr old woman on daily medication for type2 diabetes ,thyroid, & aspirin for blood thinning. Recently I have had a rash which started directly under my right breast area, At first I thought it was maybe a sweat rash as I am a busty lady, but it has spread up into my cleavage. My personal hygiene is excellent, It causes a irritating, stinging, itching sensation and I scratch to distraction. It had a blistery appearance at first then a widespread pink blotching. I think this may be shingles, But have also noticed an odour.
I have attached a couple of pictures of the area.
Can anyone give a second opinion.
Any pointers would be greatly Appreciated.
You need to see a dermotologist and have it biopsity. Then they can tell you for sure. I had something like this. Started under my breasts and then spread to my back and torso. I also thought shingles. Mind was an autoimmune disease called pemphigus. But i also had a couple spots on my face. And they looked like and open blister. That would burn and itch so back it drove me crazy. And being under the breasts is a hard place to heal because of the mositure . Good luck. Also sometimes you can get a bad yeast infection under the breasts. I also had a odor because it had gotten infected and needed antibotics. Bev
