those with Seborrheic dermatitis

i have this chronic condition. It is well under control now though

this is what i do.
I use selsun blue shampoo and head and shoulder classic shampoo.

I rotate between the two about every month
in the period where i m switching the shampoos i will mix them together
for a few days so the "shock" of switching to a new shampoo wont cause
an out break. Also i switch monthly to prevent immunity to one of the
shampoos.

When i first started using the shampoo on my face, it actually made it
redder than it was previously. It also left my face feeling "stingy". But
i was so desperate to find something to help me that i just stuck it out.
And about a week after washing my face every other day with the shampoo
i noticed better skin.

I now even more recently put the shampoo directly onto a wash cloth when
i m in the shower. The washcloth is a "rough" one. And i scrub my face with
it removing all dead skin or any residue. I let the shampoo soak on my face
for a minute or two. Then rinse off. Also maybe once every other week or so
i do a facial with the shampoo for about 10-20 mins or so. I normally was
my face with either h and s or selsun blue about every other day.

My important point to remember is that if you want to try this. The
shampoo at first may make your skin "redder" and feel stingy.
It needs about a week to really kick in. And using a wash cloth to
exfoliate/ remove all the dead skin is important for keeping your
skin smooth. I also use coco oil (extra virgin organic) for a face
moisturizer once or twice a day.

I hope this helps someone! you shouldnt use steriods on your face!!
