| Seasonal Eczema
My son is 10 and has had severe seasonal (summer) eczema since birth. It seems to be getting worse not better, and he's now getting injections and taking oral cortizone. Last summer it was so bad, that it affected his cuticles and several months later his fingernails fell off. He has had allergy testing twice and both times he came back clear. I feel that we've seen every doctor, and tried every treatment. I have friends who are really big into the gluten free diets and they want me to try it on him. BUT if he has some kind of gluten sensitivity then doesn't it make sense that that would create a year round thing?
Does anyone have severe seasonal eczema without testing positive for any known allergies?
