| Interigo and extremely itchy rashes
I have developed interigo about 2 weeks ago. It's now on my armpit area and groin. I have developed rashes shortly afterward and its been more than a week now. The rashes started on my hand (back of it not palm) and ankle, then spread to my whole arm and legs. now its on my body as well (and its still spreading). I went to the walk-in center and been checked by a nurse (about 4 days ago). She checked my skin (wasn't that bad before) but now its worst, and my blood pressure and told me it's probably viral infection or some secondary infection from my interigo and gave me some antihistamine for my itchness. I have been applying clotrimazole 1% (on my armpit) for about 10 days now and its not improving; and the rashes are getting really bad. The rashes are extremely itchy, non-blister (gets a bit dry), that I will wake up in the middle of the night scratching myself. I have made an appointment with the GP but its that it's next week and I am freaking out now and hope you may help.
