| Weird scabs???? Nutrition problem?
Hi everyone,
My girlfriend (28 years old) is noticing little scabs on her skin. They don't hurt, and they're not very big- only the width of a thread and a few centimeters long each. There's 3 in a little cluster on her left leg, just above the knee, and a few in the middle of her back. All of them are places she can reach, so I'm wondering if she's just scratching herself while she sleeps, but she doesn't think so.
She's wondering if it's nutrition related, like some sort of iron deficiency, etc. Her nails have slight vertical indents, and her nails break easily. Maybe there's no correlation at all.
This isn't a huge problem- there's no pain, no discomfort, but she does find the stabs to be weird and a little alarming because she doesn't know their source. Any thoughts?
