Full body check at dermatologist?

I recently heard about a "full body check" at a dermatologist regarding searching for any signs of skin cancer, etc. What exactly happens at these exams? Has anyone had one before?

Re: Full body check at dermatologist?

I just had one. I stripped down to just my panties and the doctor did a full examination, and took photos of each mole as the assistant wrote down where it was so that there will be a frame of reference for the next time.
