| Small, red painful bump near anus?
When I was pregnant (about 5 months ago) and washing my nether regions, I noticed something hard, like a pimple near my anus (about an inch and a half or so away). I tried to squeeze it, but nothing happened. For the next couple of days I tried to pop it, and finally did and quite a bit of pus came out and there was kind of a big hole left behind. I forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago. Now I notice it and it is painful, especially when I touch it. I don't notice it all the time, mostly only when I think about it. It's about the size of a pencil eraser and is now squishy, instead of hard.
Any idea what it might be?
