| | Needle and Pins Pain on Shoulders, Upper Back, and Neck
--What is the problem?--
Pins and needles feeling on upper back, shoulders, and neck. Happens when I get hot. My skin does not HAVE to be exposed to direct sunlight for it to happen though. Sometimes it happens inside, when it is warm and I am too warmly dressed. It's not a detergent. I don't have any allergies that I know of. I don't use creams or any medication. I ate healthy, exercise. I'm not overweight or sick. I'm young and healthy.
--How long has this been happening?--
At the very least since adolescence. It's been around 10 years.
--When does it happen?--
When I become overheated in a short span of time or just get hot. Sometimes when it is quite hot out, but not ALWAYS. More often than not during the summer.
--What do you do about it?--
I drink something cold. I put/wipe cold water on my neck and shoulders to sooth and alleviate the pain. This is only a temporary fix though, since (obviously) the water evaporates. Usually though, I just accept being uncomfortable. Not today though!
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks very much!
