I get this weird painful rash almost instantly after I shave. I looks like a cross between razor burn and acne. The red bumps swell up and get a white head on some of them. Any body get this....or know how to stop it?

I also get the same way. I always use a fresh razor, shaving cream, and the warm water of the shower. Nothing helps I've even tried topical solutions that are supposed to help! Well i didn't have any help for you. But i hope it was at least a comfort to know you are not the only one having this inconvenient problem.

I had the same problem a few years back. It was really bad around my knees and I was too embarrassed to wear shorts. Nothing seemed to make it better and it was painful. I finally mentioned it to my doctor and he said it was folliculitis probably due to a staph infection. He prescribed some antibiotics and everything cleared up. It been over 5 years now and I haven't had a problem since. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to ask my doctor about it since it was so easy to clear up.
i get this everytime i shave-in bikini area and thighs especially-no matter what i've tried it's there-people say use a new razor but i actually do better with one my husband has already used-it's also easier on me if i shave with hair conditioner-i use sauve cause it's cheap
