People who use or know about Sunless Tanning..pleaz look! - Skin Problems Message Board

Do sunless tanners really work? And when you use it, do u put it on your face? I know that might sound wierd but i never tried the stuff before so i dont know the areas where you should put it!

There are many that work, but I know 2 women that have used the tan towels from hsn and say it lasts a week and you don't need to exfoliate first. I think you get 20 towels for 25 bucks and it might take 3-4 towels to get the desired tan, but this one friend said that she couldn't believe how natural, no streaking or smell and it's the only one she'll get. They gave me a couple of samples to try, but I am going to save them for my vacation...I have used Endless summer on my face and like the way it looks, and feels firmer, but on the body, it will rub off on clothes.

I've been using ST's for the last few years and love them...Sea and Ski and Banana Boat are my fav's...however, I have freckles/age spots? on my calves and they tend to GRAB the color...

So right now I am in the process of fading those spots foregoing my tanned legs! Kinda like them pale now that I'm used to it... but my arms are always tanned.

I dont use it on my face, but there are products out there for that use.

I work at a salon and we sell a self tanner called "Safe Tan". This stuff is awesome! It's a brown liquid about the consistancy of water. You put it on with the foam brush it comes with,since it's brown you can see where you put it and you have imediate color. It will also darken in about 4 hours. I've tried everything and this stuff is the real deal.

I am using the Lancome Flash Bronzer -- Self-Tanning Face Gel Record Results.
It dries instantly, goes on uniform and gives an ultra-natural colour. It's a light, gel texture. Contains Vitamin E and moisturizing agents. Gives a golden glow/natural looking glow on your face within an hour.
I had samples of Biotherm and Clarins....have to say I much prefer this product over those.
