Kielbasa

I have noticed that over the past year (maybe even a little longer) that when I get a cut or other wound, the resulting scars are sort of translucent ... almost clear. It is like you can see through the scar down to the darker tissue below my skin. The scars aren't raised, but the deep red underlying tissue is very noticeable and unattractive.

Has anyone ever experienced this or seen it before? It's like there is absolutley no pigment in the scar. It seems like my scars used to be a light pink ... which was a different color than my normal skin tone ... but at least they blended more and were not as noticeable.

Could it be that I am deficient in some nutrient that helps one's skin heal properly?
